AFL: West Coast have taken down the Giants by 17-points in a thriller to claim their third win of the season.
After a fighting second half against Melbourne at Marvel last week the Eagles, who have adopted the name Waalitij Marawar for Sir Doug Nicholls Round, came out determined to turn their fortunes around.
Aaron Cadman and Jake Stringer struck imposing figures up forward for the visitors but West Coast’s undermanned defence was freed up without needing to worry about Jesse Hogan.

It sets up a huge round next week as the purple army face the Saints on Friday night and the Eagles take on Collingwood in Scott Pendlebury’s record-breaking game.

McQualter’s Reid take
If you thought Harley Reid’s match-winning performance against Greater Western Sydney was the young star at his best, Andrew McQualter’s got a harsh reality for you.
Best yet
Harley Reid had an outstanding night, one which could be considered his best.
McQualter on Williams
McQualter likes the word “powerful” tonight and uses it to describe Bailey Williams.
He has been reluctant with him across his first 18 months in charge but he looks impressed by the young ruck’s efforts today.
He had two goals, 16 disposals, 41 hitouts, nine tackles, seven clearances and three big marks.

“Sky’s the limit”
Andrew McQualter sings Harley Reid’s praises after his efforts tonight.
The young star had 14 touches and a goal in the second term alone today.
He will notch his 50th game next week as Scott Pendlebury breaks the AFL games record.
ANALYSIS
Bailey Williams saw the orange tide and raised them a pair of wings as he produced the best performance of his Eagles career in West Coast’s win over GWS.
Eagles celebrate
