A woman was critically injured after two cars collided on Friday, March 31, near Arthur River. The crash involving a red Mazda CX9 and a white Land Rover Discovery occurred about 7.30pm on Albany Highway near Coalfields Road. The driver of the Mazda, a 38-year-old woman, sustained critical injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC rescue helicopter. A 25-year-old female passenger in the Land Rover was taken to Collie Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Land Rover, a 28-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was also treated at Collie Hospital.
