The 29th annual Narrogin Revheads festival was a roaring success with more than 200 entrants and hundreds of spectators flocking to Thomas Hogg Oval on the weekend. Narrogin’s annual motorsports event attracts people from all over WA and is a petrol head’s paradise. Across the three days there were regular competitions involving burnouts and a Show ‘n’ Shine, with 178 burnout cars taking part and 54 Show ‘n’ Shine entrants. Clayton Farmer had a superb weekend on the pad, winning three separate awards, including the 2021 Paul Kulker Memorial burnout champion which came with $8000 in prize money. Friday night’s Burn For Cash event had 122 cars hitting the pad, with Farmer finishing first. Farmer was also first in the blown category for a second straight year with Daniel Catalano second and Dwane Pallentine third. Dayne Bairstow won the V6 category improving on his third last year, with Jacob Daniels coming second for the second year in a row and Chris Norwell third. The V8 category was won by Toby Russell, followed by Ian Whitnish and Shane Gardner. The women’s burnout champion was Lauren Young ahead of Cynthia Cochrane. The Show ‘n’ Shine was open to all classes of cars and motorcycles.
