RAC rescue helicopter called as firefighters try to free man trapped in car after Lovering Road crash, Hyden

Volunteer firefighters were battling to free a man trapped in his car after a crash on Lovering Road, near Hyden, in the Shire of Lake Kondinin on Tuesday morning. A police spokesman said a car had collided with a tree at about 11am in Lovering Road near the Bates Road junction. The RAC rescue helicopter had been called, said police. A St John WA spokesperson said two ambulances were at the scene to aid a man, likely in his 30s. The Department of Fire and Emergency Services confirmed one person had been trapped in a single vehicle. This incident comes days after major crash investigators began probing an incident on January 15 when a man in his 50s died after a motorbike crash in Hyden.
