The grand opening of Potions Artisan Gallery was a momentous occasion for owners Karen and Brad Oborn, drawing more than 60 guests to Federal Street on November 28. Thru The Door, an exhibition curated by Mitch Stone, is now showing at the town’s newest gallery, showcasing the work of more than 20 international and local artists. The theme of the exhibitions is myths, legends and folklore. The gallery aims to be a collaborative space that supports artists and artisans at various career stages, encompassing a wide range of art media. Ms Oborn said the opening of the gallery came after weeks of hard work and she was thrilled with the turnout. “We’re just so happy to see it all done, and to bring something like this to the town is so exciting,” she said. Thru The Door will be on display each weekend for the next six weeks.
