Narrogin Squash Club win two divisions at 2020 Country Week in Perth

Narrogin Squash Club travelled to Perth last week for the 2020 Country Week and returned home with pleasing results.

Over 200 players travelled to Squashworld Mirrabooka in Perth from Bunbury, Broome, Busselton, Dampier, Esperance, Geraldton, Karratha, Kalgoorlie, Katanning, Mandurah, Manjimup, Moora, Narrogin and Wongan Hills to compete in a great weekend of squash competition.

Narrogin finished victorious in two divisions while coming runner-up in another and also gained some well-earned sporty HQ points.

Michaela Pratt and Caitlin Pratt along with Alyce Smith played some fantastic squash across the week-long event to finish winners in the ladies A-grade competition.

To top off their win, the trio were also selected in the combined State country ladies team.

Narrogin also took out the men’s E championship with the team consisting of Dwayne Franks, Jarrod Denholm, Vic Ranieri and Brennan Pratt.

Paddy Spriggs, Neil Harrington, Ryan McGrath and Jodie Ranieri fell just short of taking away the H competition, finishing runners-up for the week.

Michaela and Caitlin Pratt with Alyce Smith and Sarah Hennessey finished equal fourth out of six teams in the D competition.
