Narrogin is will host a range of activities on Australia Day, starting with a free community Aussie breakfast at Alby Park at 7.30am. Local musicians Russell Gooley and Matt Hough will be providing music throughout the morning. The breakfast will be followed at 9am by the Australian citizenship ceremony. Last year, nine members of the Narrogin community made their pledge of commitment at the event. At 9.30am, the community citizen of the year awards will take place. The Narrogin Regional Leisure Centre pool will be offering free entry from 10am and the community is invited to come along and try out the inflatable “Tarzan” course. The day will conclude with a free evening screening of Aussie comedy-drama, Rams. Snacks and drinks will be available and attendees are advised to bring their own rugs and chairs to enjoy the alcohol-free outdoor event. For more information visit the Shire of Narrogin website.
