Man arrested over Narrogin armed robbery

Narrogin police have arrested a man in relation to an armed robbery at the Shell service station this morning.

It is understood the man used a rock during the robbery, which happened after a separate break-in at a Federal Street business about 7am.

Forensic officers from Albany attended the service station to examine the crime scene at the corner of Egerton Street and Earl Street.

The man stole cash and goods.

Another man is in custody and assisting police with inquiries into recent burglaries in Narrogin and Perth.
