Narrogin duo Brody Day and Blake Palmer will race against an outstanding field of drivers when they contest the WA Junior Sedan Title on their home track this weekend.

Day and Palmer will fly the Narrogin flag at the State championship, run a week after the national title was contested in Collie.

Newly crowned Australian champion Mitchell Baker heads the field of 50 drivers for the event along with defending WA champion Blake Iwanow.

South Australian Drew Flatman and WA pair Kurtis Blackburn and Brandon Buszan all finished in the top five at the national title and are expected to feature strongly this weekend.

Day will come into the event hoping for a hometown win after a brilliant performance to finish third in the final at Collie.

Official practice will be held at the Narrogin Speedway tomorrow night before heats begin on Saturday night.

The remaining heats and the all-important finals will be run on Sunday night.
