Clay titles a big success
Angus Armstrong and Carly Smith have won the King and Queen of Clay titles at Toolibin Tennis Club.
More than 30 players turned out for the singles competition last Sunday with nearly as many spectators watching some great tennis.
Club captain, Kyle Angwin, said the day had been a great success and the good turnout augured well for the 90-year-old club’s future.
“It is great to see so much interest in our club,” he said.
“Congratulations Angus and Carly on your wins.”
Toolibin competes in the Dumbleyung/Toolibin Tennis Association’s pennant competition, with social tennis held on Sundays.
