Arrest over quarry burglary

Emma TaylorThe West Australian

A Perth man has been arrested by Fremantle detectives in relation to an alleged burglary at Narrogin Quarry Operations.

The arrest came last week as a result of the public appeal for information by Narrogin police, after the suspect was reported anonymously to Crime Stoppers.

The 50-year-old man from Willagee was arrested on July 22 and charged with one count of burglary and one count of stealing.

He was also charged over another alleged burglary at the quarry last year. The man is due to appear in Narrogin Magistrate’s Court on August 14.
