Three employees of Hilton Garden Inn Albany finalists for the 2026 AHA Accommodation Awards

Three employees from Albany’s Hilton Garden Inn are finalists for the 2026 AHA and Perth Airport Accommodation Awards for Excellence.
The awards, which span more than 30 categories, celebrate excellence and leadership in the management and operation of accommodation hotels across WA.
Finalists from the Hilton Garden Inn Albany include Ashleigh Tenhaaf for the rising star employee award, Hazel Narvaez Charez for the accommodation reception award and Randika Alagiyawanna for the senior executive manager award.
The venue itself is in the running for the mid-range accommodation award.
Run by WA’s peak body for accommodation, the awards reflect the diversity and strength of the industry and highlight the employee dedication that positions WA as a leading destination for domestic and international travellers.
AHA chief executive officer Bradley Woods said WA’s accommodation sector was of a high calibre, which was a major factor helping drive the State’s tourism industry success.
“WA’s accommodation sector continues to set a high standard for excellence,” he said.
“These awards showcase the passion, professionalism and innovation that drive our industry forward.
‘”Staff finalists, in particular, demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, which is central to WA’s hospitality and tourism success.”
The winners of the awards will be announced at The Devil’s Lair Gala Ball at the Westin in Perth on March 30.
