Families and friends flocked to Gnarojin Park last Friday for a day filled with fun activities hosted by the town’s emergency services.

Narrogin Police’s Blue Light Unit hosted the annual Code Blue event, which focused on getting children geared up to go back to school.

The inflatable water slide and laser tag proved to be the most popular activities of the day alongside special visits from police horses and police dog Henry.

Local children took turns trying to help Narrogin’s police officers cool off by dunking them into a tank of water.

Southern Wheatbelt Primary Health set up a COVID-19 vaccine clinic, while other support services set up stalls with information.

The sausage sizzle was managed by police cadets who travelled from Perth for the occasion.
