The Upper Great Southern Hockey Association has taken out the Singapore Cup, named the best overall association in Hockey WA’s CBH Country Championship over the weekend,

UGSHA fielded sides in both division one and two of the three-day tournament over the long weekend at Perth Hockey Stadium, Curtin University. Both sides made it to their respective grand finals.

On Saturday, three wins went to the UGSHA, with the first division getting the better of Geraldton 4-2 and Eastern Goldfields 4-0, while the second division side was too strong for Busselton, winning 2-0.

On Sunday, division one drew 2-2 with Bunbury as division two defeated both Eastern Districts and Eastern Goldfields 2-1.

Division one qualified for the final on Monday, beating Eastern Goldfields 3-1 in the semi-final, before losing to Geraldton 2-1 in the decider.

The second division beat Bunbury 3-1 to qualify for the grand final which ended in a tight 1-0 win over Eastern Districts.
