Truck driver trapped

Narrogin Observer

A man in his 60s suffered head injuries and had to be airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital after his grain truck rolled in Brookton last Friday.

He was trapped in the truck for at least 80 minutes as nine fire crews, including career firefighters from Welshpool, worked to free him.

As of Tuesday morning, the man remained in a stable condition at Royal Perth Hospital after being airlifted by the RAC Rescue Helicopter at 2pm on Friday.

Brookton-Corrigin Road and Yeo Road were closed for more than an hour after the rollover near the intersection of the two roads just after 11.30am on Friday.
