Shire of Narrogin’s Community Chest Grants Fund now open

The Shire of Narrogin’s biannual Community Chest Grants Fund scheme has been opened again with grants of up to $2500 or in-kind support being made available for eligible not-for-profit groups. The grants are given to groups to help in the delivery of events and projects that provide benefits to the Narrogin community. In 2020 the Narrogin Community Chest Fund contributed to the Narrogin Voice Festival after the One Big Voice children’s choir event held annually in Perth was cancelled due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The maximum amount available through the grant scheme was increased by the Shire of Narrogin to $5000 in 2021 in response to the impact of the pandemic on the community. Submissions for round one of this year’s grants can be made from July 15 to August 31. More information and applications for funding are available on the Shire of Narrogin website.
