Legal action by Consumer Protection against Bon Levi in 2010, forbids the convicted fraudster of advertising his “Bikini Girl Massage” business without pre-approval of the Commissioner for Consumer Protection.

Consumer Protection are now trying to raise awareness in the community that those restrictions, which were made permanent by the Supreme Court, still apply to his business in Narrogin on Egerton Street.

Commissioner for Consumer Protection David Hillyard urges anyone who believes Mr Levi has breached the Supreme Court order or has engaged in any conduct in breach of the Australian Consumer Law to come forward.

"We would like the community to be aware that there is a Court order in force that places some requirements on Mr Levi’s business activities," Mr Hillyard said.

"Should any allegations of misleading consumers or employment applicants be supported with evidence, we will investigate with the view of taking further legal action."

The legal action taken in 2010 was prompted by concerns that the job ads being posted at that time were misleading to potential applicants as they made claims regarding training that would be provided and qualifications that would be achieved through their employment with the business.

The ads omitted information that employees would effectively be sub-contractors who had to rent facilities from the operators.

The order further requires Mr Levi to make it clear to applicants what standard of dress would be required while carrying out their duties.
