Police thank community after information leads to search warrant, drugs and weapon charges in Narrogin

A Wheatbelt South man will appear in Narrogin Magistrates Court later this month after a police search uncovered drugs and a controlled weapon at a Narrogin property on Thursday. Acting on information provided by the community, Narrogin police executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address in town on May 2. As a result of the search, a man has been charged with offences, including possession of prohibited drugs with intent to sell or supply, and possession of a controlled weapon. Narrogin Police Station officer-in-charge Sen. Sgt Ryan Devine thanked the community for its assistance. “We are grateful for the information received from the community,” he said. “We will always act on it when we can.”
