Jeff Douglas of Narrogin Elders receives national nod with Overall Sales Person of the Year Award

Narrogin Elders rural real estate agent Jeff Douglas has won the One Elders Overall Sales Person of the Year Award for outstanding performance and perseverance. Mr Douglas received the honour at the One Elders Awards in Adelaide on December 13, 2023, after a year that saw the Elders veteran achieve great things despite undergoing a knee reconstruction in July. “Each year Elders give out awards Australia-wide,” he said. “There’s the overall employee of the year awards and then there are awards for different sections — my award was in the sales performance category and it’s awarded not just for sales performance but attitude and overall approach. “I had some surgery carried out and I managed to be successful anyway, so the award was for triumphing through a bit of adversity.” Receiving the award from a company he is proud to work for in recognition of effort and achievement rather than through competition made the nod an extra meaningful one for Mr Douglas. “The company has been good to me and the people have been particularly good to me — all of the people in the community in which I work,” he said. “It’s really an honour to work for them and represent them in the sale of their properties. “They’re important transactions and it’s really quite humbling that they enjoy what I do.”
