IN PICTURES: Wheatbelt South community shows spirit and sportsmanship at NDNA, UGSHA grand finals in Narrogin

The athleticism and community spirit of the Wheatbelt South was on show at the Narrogin and Districts Netball Association and Upper Great Southern Hockey Association 2023 grand finals on Saturday. Games across all grades and both sports were competitive and all players, officials. volunteers and spectators bought their best to the biggest day of the year. Life members from both associations were present, including NDNA’s Coral Mahony and UGSFA’s Eddie Masson, while both codes gave thanks to outgoing stalwarts Alex Hodges and Rodney “Rocket” Johnson. The excitement shown by children throughout the day and the support displayed by the Wheatbelt South community bodes well for the future of both sports.
