IN PICTURES: Friday Artists group exhibition gathers big crowd at Narrogin Exhibition Space

Narrogin Art Group’s Friday Artists exhibition drew a crowd of around 70 people to NEXIS on Federal Street to celebrate its official opening on Saturday June 10. The show presented the work of Louise Cameron, Peter Denton, Lynne Dorset, Susan Ettridge, Barbara Fletcher, Ali McCarthy, Angela Ohlsen, Deborah Old, Tania Smith, Trevor Stringer, Evelyn White and Val Whiting, a group collectively known as the Friday Artists. Common throughout the varied works was the depiction of Australian life, from the up-close floral prints of White to the expansive landscapes of Smith. The exhibition was opened by Narrogin Art Group founding members Les and Sue Riley. The exhibition will run at NEXIS from June 10 to July 4 and is available to view between 10am-4pm, Wednesday-Saturday.
