An 18 year-old woman was flown to RPH after sustaining serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Babakin-Corrigin Road in the Shire of Corrigin early Thursday morning. The crash happened about 6am when the woman’s vehicle, a silver Isuzu, crashed and rolled, resulting in serious injuries to the 18-year-old sole occupant. Emergency services including Corringin Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service attended and the woman was taken by ambulance to Corrigin Oval before being flown to RPH by the RAC Chopper about 8.30am. The woman was in a stable condition in the State Trauma Unit. The crash comes after two international tourists in their 70s died at the scene of a head-on collision in Kunjin on November 12. The 74-year-old male and 72-year-old female were killed when their Toyota collided with a campervan on Brookton-Corrigin Road about 3pm. The two occupants of the Toyota, a 25-year-old male driver and a 24-year-old female passenger, were flown to RPH for treatment.
