IN PICTURES: Festive cheer fills Albany town square for Christmas markets as winter wonderland proves big hit

It was a big weekend for festive spirit as the Christmas markets returned with stalls, treats and plenty of community spirit. The markets were part of Saturday’s Christmas Festival and Pageant in the CBD, hosted by the City of Albany, in the town square and Alison Hartman Gardens. The winter wonderland was a crowd favourite with lots of snow angels, snowmen and plenty of laughs. Even Father Christmas and other special guests called in for photos. Families enjoyed the festive atmosphere before the main pageant got under way at 6pm.
