The NewFarm, NewCountry festival is on again in WA’s Great Southern from November 6 to 8, 2026.

It’s a weekend of music, camping and community on the NewFarm Campground between Denmark and Walpole.

Musically, there are the sounds of alt-country, folk and roots. Visually, it is set against the Great Southern forest.

And it is all close to Greens Pool and the Valley of the Giants.

A festival spokesperson says: “Festival-goers are encouraged to make a weekend of it — camp beneath the stars, explore the region’s spectacular beaches and forests, and discover the unique spirit of the Great Southern through music, creativity and community.”

ON THE LIST

The festival will mix local, regional and interstate talent. That reflects the organisers’ commitment to celebrating Australia’s diverse, independent music scene.

Local talent is represented by Denmark trio The Jig Is Up, Albany songwriter Annie Johnson, Cowaramup artist Olive Mae, Perth six-piece The Stumblers, and South West storyteller Pete Godden.

But leading the line-up are Great Southern favourites The Red Tails, featuring Albany country music artist Tammy London, Simon London (Simon London & The Spirits) and Vikki Thorn (The Waifs, ThornBird).

They are joined by acclaimed acts including Kangaroos With Machine Guns, Melbourne alt-country rock outfit Elly McK & The Unbelievers, Adele Oliver (Broome), Misty Harlowe (Snowy River, Victoria), Ange Boxall (Swansea, Tasmania), Savanah Solomon (WA Wheatbelt), Charlie Mgee (Denmark), Tanya Ransom (Margaret River), The Gray Brothers (Broome), Polly Medlen Band (South West WA), The Polite Society (Perth), and the welcome return of 2025 crowd favourites The Wilds.

There will also be a special twilight performance from Perth singer-songwriter Rachael Dease.
