Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi is now taking reservations for stays starting April 29, 2026.
The doors are reopening, after what the team there calls a “transformative renovation”.
It has just 57 rooms and suites, in-line with its long-standing intimate, residential-style of luxury in the dynamic Marunouchi district.
It is close to Tokyo Station.
A spokesperson for the hotel says: “Reaffirming this core identity, the transformation is set to deepen the Hotel’s sense of place, merging hallowed tradition with sleek modernity, elegant beauty with cosy warmth — all brought together by the thoughtful, highly personalised service synonymous with the team.”
Rooms suites and public spaces have been comprehensively redesigned by Andre Fu and his Hong Kong-based studio.
Andre Fu Studio aims to create the sense of a “contemporary manor”.
“Our goal was to create a space that feels both distinctly Japanese and unmistakably cosmopolitan — a sanctuary where guests can connect with Tokyo in a deeply personal way,” says Andre.
The lobby is a reimagined modern Japanese tea lounge, with a layered composition of washi panelling, muted furnishings and views of a meditative rock garden.
Guest rooms aim to be a sanctuary of calm, with details such as cast bronze lighting and sakura floral marquetry.
The hotel’s three-Michelin-starred French restaurant SEZANNE remains open.
