The New England Patriots have made it six straight NFL victories after seeing off the Tennessee Titans 36-13 at Gillette Stadium to sit 8-4 at the top of AFC East.

The Titans (8-4) suffered a second successive loss, having trailed only 16-13 at halftime.

Patriots' rookie quarterback Mac Jones delivered a solid performance with two touchdown passes, completing 23 throws for 310 yards, while the defence also produced four turnovers.

"You're not gonna win a Super Bowl now. You're gonna win it in February. We gotta keep that same mindset," Pats' defensive lineman Davon Godchaux said of the victory, which snapped New England's two-game losing streak to Tennessee.

The Baltimore Ravens (8-3) consolidated top spot in the AFC North with a hard-fought 16-10 home win over the Cleveland Browns, while Leonard Fournette scored four touchdowns as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rallied to defeat the Colts 38-31 with a dramatic late show in Indianapolis.

Tom Brady helped push his side on with a 75-yard drive as Fournette ran into the end zone with only 20 seconds left.

"It got scary at the end, but it's a team sport. We came together and made it happen," Fournette said.

Aaron Rodgers withstood pain from a toe injury, threw two touchdown passes and also ran for a score as the Green Bay Packers held on to defeat the Los Angeles Rams 36-28.

"It definitely isn't the ideal situation not to practice," Rodgers said.

"But if I can go out there ... I've just got to rely on my instincts. The beauty is it's an 11-person-a-side game, and I really feel the offensive line allowed me just to settle in."

Rodgers went 28 of 45 for 307 yards as the Packers improved to a NFC-leading 9-3 record, while the Rams (7-4) dropped their third straight game.

Elsewhere, the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 41-10, while the New York Jets inflicted another defeat on the Texans with a 21-14 win in Houston.

The Miami Dolphins extended their winning streak to four games with a 33-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Florida, and the Denver Broncos were 28-13 winners at home to the Los Angeles Chargers.

The New York Giants saw off the visiting Philadelphia Eagles 13-7, the San Francisco 49ers won their third straight by beating the Minnesota Vikings 34-26, but the Jacksonville Jaguars suffered a third straight defeat as the Atlanta Falcons won 21-14.
