West Coast star Harley Reid has added another fine to list of on-field indiscretions after being charged for an incident in the western derby with Jordan Clark.
Reid and Clark were cited for wrestling during the second quarter of Sunday’s game at Optus Stadium. Their pair can accept a $1000 fine or challenge the decision at the tribunal and risk it being increased to $1500.
The incident occurred on the outer wing after Reid shrugged through a Clark tackle. The pair went to ground and started wrestling as the ball went forward. West Coast kicked a goal from that play through Josh Lindsay.
It is the first time this season that Reid has fallen foul of the AFL judiciary. But he has copped multiple fines throughout his career.
Brisbane’s Jaspa Fletcher can also accept a $1000 fine for making careless contact with an umpire.
