The woman at the centre of AFL star Lachie Neale’s marriage breakdown has finally spoken to reporters about her involvement in the scandal.

In a video taken by the Daily Mail on Tuesday, Tess Crosley is seen in the driver’s seat of a sleek black SUV with the window half down as a reporter approaches her asking questions.

“Did you want to say anything about Lachie?” the reporter asks, to which a smiling Ms Crosley replies, “No, I have to make an appointment”.

Ms Crosley did not appear to be flustered by the reporter’s questions, even when quizzed about her personal life with husband Ben Crosley.

“And you’re back home with your hubby? You’re trying to work it out?” the persistent reporter asked.

“No comment. . .thank you, bye, see ya!” Ms Crosley replied.

Ms Crosley first gained attention after Lachie Neale’s wife Jules demanded she remove photos of herself, her husband Lachie, and the Crosleys at the 2025 AFL Grand Final.

At the same time Jules’ friendship with Ms Crosley appears to have ended, Jules posted a statement on Instagram addressing rumours that she and Lachie were “working through” issues in their seven-year marriage.

“I want to make it very clear that I am not ‘working through’ anything,” Jules said.

“I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.

“All I can do now is to to heal and do what’s best for my children.”

Lachie confirmed that he and Jules, who hails from WA, had separated, and that he was stepping down from his role as Brisbane Lions co-captain.

“While I won’t go into specifics, I can say that I have let my family down and I apologise for my actions that have let down those that are closest to me,” he said in a press conference at the Lions HQ earlier this month.

“For that I am deeply sorry.”

On the same day, Lachie was pictured moving items from the Neales’ marital home in Brisbane’s Seven Hills, presumably to his new apartment.

The two-time Brownlow Medal winner looked downcast as he removed shoes and kitchen utensils from the home.

It is believed Jules has moved back to her hometown of Perth with the couple’s two children.

Ms Crosley has continued to be active on social media since the storm around the Neales’ marriage surfaced, including photos of Christmas with her son and her 30th birthday celebration in Adelaide.

Her husband Ben, who she married in 2017, is absent from Ms Crosley’s photos from the last month.
