Swans Isaac Henney’s fiancée Steffanie Waters has reportedly left their Sydney home amid the fallout from the star’s suspension.

Along with Chad Warner, Nick Blakey, James Jordon and Riley Bice, Heeney has been stood down for the remainder of the AFL season as police continue to investigate an alleged sexual assault at a Melbourne hotel in the early hours of Monday morning, following the Swans’ win over Essendon at the MCG.

In the wake of the suspension, Heeney has already lost his partnership with Colgate and his children’s book have been pulled from major Australian booksellers.

The latest fallout, reported by the Adelaide Advertiser, is that his fiancée, who is described as “distraught” has “travelled away from their Sydney home and travelled to Noosa”.

Meanwhile, fresh allegations about what allegedly occurred inside the hotel room have emerged, with Code Sports reporting one of the women became enraged after a man allegedly slapped her buttocks four times, despite three slaps reportedly having been agreed to.

Lawyers representing two of the women have also indicated they are preparing civil action over the alleged incident, with a compensation claim expected to seek damages for pain, suffering, psychological injury and economic loss.

Serious questions have been raised over the couple’s future after she was pictured by The Daily Mail without her engagement ring and looking ‘distressed and ‘distraught’ while making a phone call in the Queensland town on Friday.

Heeney and Ms Waters got engaged in October, 2025 while on holiday in French Polynesia after dating for several years.

In the aftermath of the bombshell claims against her partner and several other members of his team, Ms Waters has also restricted comments on most of her Instagram posts.

Other partners of the suspended five players have also made changes to their social media in the wake of the scandal. Since Monday, Chad Warner’s girlfriend, Alice Hughes, has turned her Instagram account to private.

She is not the only one to have done so, with James Jordon’s girlfriend, Emily Twycross, also changing her public account to private in the days since the allegations first emerged.

The Swans announced the five players’ suspensions on Wednesday after conducting their own inquiries into their conduct, seperate to the police investigation.

Chief executive Matthew Pavlich said the club was “deeply embarrassed and ashamed at the poor choices” made by the players and outlined the behaviour that led to the sanctions.

The five players are still permitted to attend the club while serving their suspensions.

No player has been arrested or charged and the Swans have repeatedly stressed their sanctions are separate to the ongoing police investigation. This masthead is not suggesting Heeney or any other player is guilty of any criminal wrongdoing.
