For plenty of women, travel has a habit of slipping down the priority list.
Careers, children, caring responsibilities and the general demands of day-to-day life can easily get in the way. But Australian fashion retailer Suzanne Grae and cruise specialist My Cruises are hoping to change that.
The two brands have teamed up to give away a European river cruise package worth more than $18,000, with the promotion particularly aimed at women who are ready to make travel a priority.
It comes after a recent survey of Suzanne Grae customers found almost seven in 10 had considered taking a cruise, while cultural discovery, all-inclusive ease and genuine relaxation were among the things they wanted most from a holiday.
The major prize is an eight-night Avalon Waterways cruise along the Rhine for two, departing Amsterdam on November 3, 2026.
The winner and their travel companion will stay in a Panorama Suite, with dining, entertainment and shore excursions included.
There’s also $4000 in flight credits through My Cruises, a Suzanne Grae cruise wardrobe worth more than $500 and a $1000 Suzanne Grae gift card.
The first 7500 entrants will also receive a $200 My Cruises voucher towards an eligible cruise holiday package.
Suzanne Grae managing director Suzanne Scozzi says the giveaway is a way of thanking customers while encouraging them to embrace new experiences.
“We can’t wait to see one lucky winner set sail on the holiday of a lifetime,” she says.
To enter, customers need to spend $50 or more at Suzanne Grae in-store or online, subscribe to My Cruises and the Grae Friends newsletter, and complete the online competition entry form.
The competition runs until September 8, with the winner drawn on September 9.
