A lengthy overnight cleanup of a crash between a train and truck has been complete, allowing a return to regular services across the Perth rail network.
Crews worked throughout Wednesday evening following the collision just after 4pm between a commuter train and a truck on Meadow Street at Great Eastern Highway at a level crossing on the Midland line in Guildford.
Trains between Bayswater and Midland were cancelled, causing major disruptions for peak hour commuters.
Police say the truck and train collided at the Meadow Street railway crossing. There were no life-threatening injuries, but one woman and two teenagers were taken to Midland Hospital with another woman taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
As of early Thursday morning, the debris had been entirely cleared and both the train track and traffic crossing had been reopened.
WA Incident Alerts say the truck was removed from the tracks at 7.15pm, and by 9.15pm crews had almost completed fixing the boom gates and damaged fencing.
Their work was entirely complete by the morning. 6PR reported early Thursday the scene had no trace of the crash that unfolded just over 12 hours earlier.
Passengers were stranded on the train for up to an hour while waiting to get off.
Police are investigating what caused the collision.
