Perth traffic: Massive traffic delays on Mitchell Freeway after crash blocks lanes

Emergency services are on the scene of a crash on Mitchell Freeway.

Traffic is extremely heavy on the freeway southbound before Ocean Reef Road in Edgewater.

Police and an ambulance are on site, with traffic reduced to a single lane.

Traffic is still heavy on the same freeway southbound after Erindale Road in Balcatta following a rollover.

The crash took place in one of the centre lanes and blocked three lanes.

The wreckage has now been cleared but motorists are urged to seek alternative routes where possible.

A crash on Kwinana Freeway northbound before Roe Highway in South Lake has also caused heavy traffic.

Again, the wreckage has been cleared but drivers should be cautious on approach.
