Perth traffic: Man hospitalised with serious injuries after he was hit by car on Nicholson Road

An elderly man has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a car in Perth’s south on Friday afternoon.

A St John spokesperson confirmed crews attended the scene on Nicholson Road northbound after Ranford Road in Canning Vale.

A man in his 90s was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital under normal road conditions, arriving about 3.15pm.

WA Police said the man sustained serious injuries as a result of being hit by a vehicle.

The right lane was shut after the incident was reported by Main Roads about 2.37pm. Traffic began flowing after the area was cleared about 3.18pm

Towing services also attended the site.
