The South West recorded 319 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday morning, bringing the region’s total to 1807 active cases.

These regional figures come as WA Health is reporting a total of 5770 new cases to 6pm Tuesday night, with WA now recording 28,770 active cases.

The figures put the South West well behind the metropolitan case load. Perth recorded 4671 new cases bringing the city’s total tally at 23,345 current cases.

Sadly, two deaths were also recorded, dating back to June 6, which were reported to WA Health on Tuesday.
