Rockingham crashes leave two motorcyclists injured after motorbike ploughs through house window

A woman is in hospital with serious injuries after ploughing partway through the window of a southern suburbs home during a motorcycle crash. The incident unfolded about 9.30am Saturday morning when emergency services were called to a crash on Goongarrie Drive in Waikiki. Police say it was reported a CFMOTO motorcycle had hit a house, with the rider partially thrown through a window. The rider, a 35-year-old woman, suffered serious injuries in the collision and was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital under priority conditions by ambulance. An RPH spokesman confirmed the woman was in a serious but stable condition as of Saturday afternoon. The Department of Fire and Emergency Services and State Emergency Service attended the home to ensure it was structurally safe following the crash. A second crash occurred nearby just after 11am, when a car and motorcycle collided at the intersection of Arkwright and Dixon roads in Rockingham. The motorcycle rider, a man in his 30s, suffered leg injuries and was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital by ambulance under normal road conditions.
