A West Australian has become the State’s latest overnight millionaire after scooping the $1 million prize in Millionaire Medley on Monday night.

The lucky ticket — bought online — was the only winner in the country.

More than 13,000 WA players also pocketed prizes across divisions two to six as part of the special “double win day” event, which doubled winnings outside the top division.

Lotterywest spokeswoman Zoe Wender said the mystery winner was in for a life-changing surprise if they had not yet checked their ticket.

“It’s fantastic to celebrate another WA millionaire thanks to Millionaire Medley, especially on a night where winners across other divisions doubled their prize — the perfect pick-me-up for a Monday,” she said.

“If last night’s division one winner hasn’t checked their ticket yet, they’re in for a wonderful surprise when our customer service team gets in touch to break the news.

“I don’t think Mondays will ever feel the same again for them.”

The win is WA’s seventh Millionaire Medley winner for 2026.

And there was more luck for WA players, with another online ticket holder winning division two in Set for Life — worth $5000 a month for the next 12 months.

Lotterywest said proceeds from ticket sales continued to support community grants across WA.

This month, a $425,000 grant is backing the WA Volunteer of the Year Awards and National Volunteer Week celebrations.
