After losing two of the opening three matches, Rack Pack have now won nine of their past 10.

But it remains tight, with Grand Troupe’s win against Piccadilly Blinders ensuring they are only a game adrift.

Warriors won a nailbiter against Gladiators in the Gala derby, and Country Club Kings kept their top-four aspirations alive with a 10-7 win over Main Reef Breakers.

In first division matches played last week, Star and Garter Pirates reaffirmed their status as premiership favourites with a demolition of Trolley Boys, and Cobras’ strong season continued in a win over Grand Spartans.

In this Thursday night’s round, Cobras will be tested against Pirates, and Main Reef — in their fight to make the top-eight — oppose Gala Warriors in a must-win game.
