Fire crews had to extricate a passenger from a car after it lost control and slammed into a wall in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Five people were in the red Holden Astra when it lost control and collided with a wall on Market Street at about 3.45am.

The male driver and three others in the vehicle were not injured but one passenger, a woman in her 30s, was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with minor injuries.

Two DFES crews, from Vincent Fire Station, attended and extricated one occupant from the vehicle.

Police said inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
