Mosman Park double murder-suicide: Wording of note found at scene of Mott Close tragedy revealed

Details of a note discovered at the scene of a “devastating” Mosman Park tragedy in which a family of four were found dead in a suspected double murder suicide can be revealed. The West Australian understands that the note found at the Mosman Park Mott Close property on Friday morning contained words to the effect of “don’t enter” and “call police”. Det-Insp. Jessica Securo told reporters that a person known to the family arrived at the home before police were called about 8.15am. She said the person was attending the home for a possibly pre-arranged medical appointment for two teenaged boys who had adverse health conditions. The bodies of the 50-year-old father, a 49-year-old mother and their two boys — aged 14 and 16 — were discovered at the home by police. Two dogs and a cat were also found dead at the property. “We do know that both children experienced significant health challenges,” Det-Insp. Securo said. “This tragic incident occurred only this morning, and it will take time for police to investigate the full circumstances surrounding this incident.” Det-Insp. Securo said while she couldn’t confirm the exact location of where the family members were found inside the home, she confirmed they were not in the same location. Police including homicide detectives and forensics, remained at the Mosman Park property on Friday afternoon. Police were seen canvassing the home while a white tent was stationed on the street. Forensics were observed completing a detailed walkthrough of the home as detectives investigate their exact causes of death, which includes awaiting the results of an autopsy.
