Glenn Anthony Howard: Arson squad appeal for information after Port Kennedy Endeavour Drive home destroyed

Arson squad detectives are searching for a man as part of their investigation into a suspicious Port Kennedy blaze that hospitalised a woman with burns and destroyed a home.

The public is urged to not approach Glenn Anthony Howard, 58, as detectives try to confirm his whereabouts.

It is understood detectives wish to speak with Mr Howard regarding the fire that consumed a home on Endeavour Drive in Port Kennedy earlier this week.

The fire was reported to authorities after 10pm on Monday. A woman in her 40s was rushed to Fiona Stanley Hospital with burns.

Police said Mr Howard was known to frequent the Port Kennedy and Rockingham areas.

“Mr Howard is described as approximately 183cm tall, of medium build, with greying brown hair and blue eyes,” Police said.

“If sighted, members of the public are requested not to approach Mr Howard and to contact police immediately on 131 444.”

A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said the home was destroyed in the blaze.
