Cow Bay Boardrider groms warming up for future comps

Sunday saw 60 junior Cowaramup Bay Boardriders surfers fight out for the top spot in contestable waves at Inside Grunters for round three of this year’s competition.

The Novice and Under 12 divisions revelling in the comfort of Innie Gs and put on a good show of surfing, promising the club a strong future.

Cow Bay’s older divisions took the opportunity to hone skills and practise for upcoming small wave events.

Spectators were delighted to see significant improvements in many of the young surfers since the beginning of the 2021 club series.

With a warm north-westerly blowing, the fun on the beach and in the shore break was contagious.

Many surfers received awards for encouragement, improvement, and sportsmanship and stoke.
