The newly refurbished Albany Motel and Apartments played host to an evening of catching up, making new friends and sparking professional connections last month.
The August edition of the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry social sundowner was held at the Frederick Street venue and offered business professionals a valuable opportunity to socialise in a relaxed setting.
The monthly networking event was on August 19, with the ACCI social media post saying it was well-attended.
“There’s something so valuable about getting a room full of Great Southern business people together and simply giving them the opportunity to chat,” the post read.
“Because sometimes the value of networking isn’t something you can measure on the night.
“It’s meeting the person you end up collaborating with six months later, discovering a local business you didn’t know existed, finding someone who understands the challenge you’re currently facing, or simply putting a face to a name you’ve seen around town.”
The next event will be hosted by Veterans Assist at the Albany Club on September 16.
