A 17-goal haul from Lewis Davis propelled Gnowangerup to a 156-point win over Jerramungup in the Ongerup Football Association on Saturday.

Coming off an 83-point win last week, the Bulldogs remain undefeated at the end of round three as they show no signs of a premiership hangover.

Davis booted 11 goals against Boxwood Hill last week and the 23-year old has now kicked 31 goals in just three rounds for the reigning premiers.

Liam Phillips, Ethan Caldwell and Davis were all outstanding for the Bulldogs during their annihilation of Jerramungup, 27.17 (179) to 3.5 (23).

Davis has taken the mantle as the Bulldogs’ main avenue to goal with his usual partner in crime Timm House now playing with Claremont.

Aaron Winters, Thomas Hicks and Wade Brown were solid contributors in a tough day out for the Eagles.

The Bulldogs sit atop the league ladder with an enormous percentage of 352.38.

Harry Litchfield and Clancy Norris also made their league debut for the Bulldogs in the win.

Lake Grace-Pingrup enjoyed a thrilling two-point win, 12.6 (78) to 10.16 (76), over Newdegate in Newdegate on Saturday.

The Bombers’ big win means they also remain undefeated heading into next week’s big fixture against the Bulldogs.

Bombers players Jackson Callope and Karl Fleay were instrumental in the result, kicking four and three goals respectively.

Luke Bairstow, Samuel Bertola and new recruit Michael McGlade were superb for the Bombers all day.

The Lions were best served by Dean Rintoul, Tristan Ballard (two goals) and David Newman.

Lions’ Ian Lloyd and Clint Westlake both hit the scoresheet with two goals each.
