Albany’s Plaza Lotteries team wait for lucky Lotto winner to claim $800,000 ticket

The staff at Albany’s Plaza Lotteries are waiting to pop the champagne with the owner of a winning division one Saturday Lotto ticket worth more than $800,000.

The ticket, worth $834,643.56, was the only division one winner sold in WA among seven from across the country in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.

It is the fourth division one ticket sold by Plaza Lotteries in its history and its second sold in the past three years.

Plaza Lotteries owner Wayne Walczak said he was excited for the winners.

“We are very pleased for our winners and we are happy that we do it so often as well,” he said.

Mr Walczak said the team were nervously waiting for the customer to claim their winnings.

“We are just waiting for our winner to come in so we can pop the champagne with them,” he said.

“They haven’t come in yet.

“We are just really excited for them and we just love it.”

The winning numbers:30, 12, 26, 16, 40, 27.
