The Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched a 24/7 online learning hub to give the city’s business and community groups easy access to learning.

The hub is filled with training materials for skills that will help local businesses, such as writing grant applications, communication, and finance organisation.

It was created in response to feedback from members that compliance training costs was increasing and it was difficult to make it to in-person events.

The feedback also showed businesses weren’t investing in gaining new skills and knowledge.

ACCI president David Steytler — also the owner of Three Anchors and the White Star — said from his own experiences, these skills were valuable to businesses.

“The reason we exist is to remove these barriers of access and training for our members, and we found a way to do that for the whole community,” he said. “Time and money should not be a barrier to staying well informed.

“Because of our members, the chamber learning hub can bring to the region the latest skills, training webinars, templates, videos and useful information to the whole community at a very affordable price, and with the flexibility we all require.”
