Pirate Life Perth 5th Birthday

Unveiling a major refurbishment and celebrating five years of operation, the Pirate Life complex is throwing a party. On offer will be a limited run of birthday beers, created by head brewer Dan Feist. A great line-up of music kicks off from 3pm with an acoustic set by Reuben De Melo. DJ Stylz Ali with Hyclass ramp things up at 6.30pm with a hip-hop set and from 8.30pm DJ Steffie plays, featuring Cocco on percussion.

Every Sunday until May 10, 7am to 12pm, Barrack Square Perth

Pull on your activewear and saunter down to these springtime brunch and wellness markets under the Bell Tower. There are food trucks, pastries, specialty coffee and feel-good fare, plus a number of run clubs, yoga, Pilates and other wellness sessions.

WA Dragon Boat Festival 2026

Dragon boat clubs from across WA come together on this fun-filled day to compete. This is also a celebration welcoming the Year of the Fire Horse, with lion dance performances and traditional drumming. There will be free craft activities for children aged 4 to 10 at the WA Shipwrecks Museum from 11am to 3pm.

Taking place in one of Crown Perth’s most luxurious spaces, this event is designed as a celebration of the food of famed chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Relive one of the greatest love stories of all time in this revival of a classic from WA Opera. Jessica Blunt makes her debut as Violetta, a glamorous courtesan who falls into a passionate and forbidden romance with Alfredo, played by Paul O’Neill. Directed by Sarah Giles, this was last performed in Perth in 2022 and opera lovers will be excited to see it return.
